Children's Donkey Read!
Come and join us at Stone Soup Books on July 27th, from 10am-12pm when donkeys take over! Hope's Legacy Equine Rescue will be joining with a life-size donkey cutout, Equestrian-themed activities and items, and sweet treats!

About the Event
Join us July 27th, from 10am-12pm for a Children's Donkey Read! Learn all about donkeys, horses, and mules with Hope's Legacy Equine Rescue, your community rescue focusing on the rehabilitation and adoption of equines throughout Virginia. Take a photo with our life-sized cut-out of Donkey and enjoy some sweet treats!
Also BOOKS!! Stone Soup will have fun and diverse selection of books to purchase, and Hope's will have kid's games all themed around equines. There will be a donkey storytime at 10:30am and a horse storytime at 11:00am!
10% of book sales will go to feeding equines in need and help them on their way to being adopted by a loving family. All sales of Hope's Legacy items will go directly to supporting the rescue.
About Hope's Legacy:
Hope’s Legacy Equine Rescue was founded in 2008 when we took in our first donkey. Since then we have taken in over 580 horses, ponies, mules, and donkeys.
